Unknown World

In the dark of the night you let your eyes behold the scenery that you have traveled millenniums to see. The new world seen below you is eerie and frightening, unlike anything that has ever been seen before, yet somehow it seems to call to you. Alone on an alien planet the only thing of comfort and recognition is the moon and stars above in the night sky. The moon shines it's light down allowing you to give off your own glow, lighting the path forward to follow. Nervously you grip onto your weapon, brought in fear that the natives could possibly be hostile towards those unlike themselves. It was an odd behavior, but one that must be accepted on their land.

These creatures look similar yet so different, could communication be possible or would your message fall upon deaf ears, the meaning lost among the vast differences? Feeling safe upon the perch high above the the valley you drift just above the rock surface , your foreign matter forbidden to touch the sacred earth. The desire to feel the earth below you makes you envy those who were born here, given the gift to be one with the natural world around them. A gift so valuable yet so common, that it is often overlooked by those who have it. Traveling deeper and deeper into the woods the excitement of new discovery gives you hope, yet the fear of rejection force you to stay hidden within the shadows.

Ok, so i drew this as a way to practice using backgrounds more. I think it turned out fairly well. Took a while to finish due to numerous distractions but i found time and my focus. This is one of my more favored avatars on Gaia. Remember to ask if you want to use this for any reason whatsoever!!!! It could have scanned a little better, some of the values seem to have been lost.
